Sodium bicarbonate

Sodium bicarbonate inhibits stomach acid production and is classified as an antacid that can be used to treat heartburn, indigestion, and upset stomach (1). Sodium bicarbonate is an antacid that works quickly. It should only be used for short-term relief.

Calcium Carbonate
